DJ Epoxy Solutions — Proud Member of the Greater Palm Bay Chamber of Commerce

Choosing a flooring contractor mostly comes down to one question: is this a real business that will still be here if something goes wrong? DJ Epoxy Solutions is a verified, active member of the Greater Palm Bay Chamber of Commerce, the non-profit business organization serving South Brevard County. That membership is one piece of the answer — a verifiable, physical business presence in Palm Bay rather than an anonymous listing.

Why Does Chamber Membership Matter When Hiring a Flooring Contractor?
Flooring is one of those trades where anyone can put up a website and a phone number. Chamber membership doesn’t guarantee good work — nothing does — but it does establish some things you can verify independently.
The Greater Palm Bay Chamber has operated since 1989 as the business voice for South Brevard. Membership means a named business with a physical address in the community, listed publicly and traceable. If you want to check whether the company quoting your floor actually exists locally, the member directory is a straightforward way to do it.
For a homeowner comparing quotes, that’s worth something. It won’t tell you whose preparation is better, but it tells you who has a stake in this community and will still be reachable next year.
Who Is DJ Epoxy Solutions?
A family-run epoxy flooring company based in Palm Bay, led by Javier Arnaez, a construction professional with more than 30 years of hands-on experience. We install epoxy and polyaspartic floors in garages, homes, businesses, pool decks, patios and commercial spaces across Brevard and Indian River Counties.
What that means day to day:
- The owner runs the job. Javier quotes it, prepares it and is there through the final walkthrough. No subcontractors, no sales team, nobody to escalate to because there’s nobody in between.
- Industrial-grade materials only. Professional-grade resins, pigments and sealers on every project.
- Written warranty terms. Lifetime on interior installations — set out in writing before work starts, not explained after.
- Five-star rated by real local clients across Brevard and Indian River Counties.
- Free on-site estimates. Javier evaluates the space himself, brings color samples, and leaves a written quote with no obligation.
What Does Epoxy Flooring Cost?
Our systems run $6 to $15 per square foot. For the spaces people ask about most:
- $1,800 — one-car garage, 250–300 sq ft
- $2,500 — two-car garage, 400–500 sq ft
- $3,300 — three-car garage, 580–750 sq ft
- $2,000 — patio or lanai, 200–400 sq ft
Those are starting points for concrete in reasonable condition. An old coating that has to come off, cracking beyond a surface fill, or moisture in the slab all move the figure — and none of it is visible in a photo, which is why we don’t quote over the phone. Standard crack and pit repair sits inside the quote rather than appearing later as an extra.
How Long Does the Work Take?
Installation time depends on the concrete condition, preparation required, selected coating system, project size and site conditions. Confirm the installation schedule for the actual floor with Javier before planning access or moving belongings. Interior rooms, patios, lanais and commercial floors vary with size and slab condition. For a realistic schedule on your project, plus how booking works and what happens on the day, call Javier at (321) 398-1343 — he runs the calendar himself and gives you actual dates.
Curing is separate and we don’t compress it:
- about 8 hours before foot traffic
- about 72 hours before parking a vehicle
DJ Epoxy Solutions generally recommends about 8 hours before walking and about 72 hours before vehicles or heavy use after the completed installation. These are return-to-use guidelines, not a promise of full cure. The selected system, site conditions and Javier’s project-specific instructions determine the actual timing.
What Services Do We Provide?
- Garage epoxy flooring — installation scheduled for the assessed floor and selected system
- Residential interior floors — kitchens, laundry rooms, hallways, sunrooms
- Commercial flooring — retail, restaurants, offices, warehouses and workshops
- Pool deck coatings — non-slip flake and quartz finishes
- Patio and lanai coating — UV-stable polyaspartic topcoats for Florida exposure
- Flake and quartz systems — flake for most spaces, quartz where a heavier-duty surface is needed
- Preparation within a flooring installation — removal of failed coatings and necessary concrete corrections for the proposed floor. Grinding and repairs are not offered as standalone services.
Flake is what goes down on most floors. Metallic is available for interior spaces only, and it’s a decorative finish rather than a working surface — we don’t recommend it for garages, patios or anywhere that gets wet. Javier will tell you which system suits your space, including when the less expensive option is the right one.
What Warranty Comes With the Work?
Interior installations carry a lifetime warranty against installation and manufacturer defects.
Normal wear from everyday use isn’t covered, which is true of every coating on the market. Where a project spans both interior and exterior, Javier marks the boundary during the walkthrough so the terms are unambiguous before work starts.
