Epoxy Flooring Questions, Answered Simply

Here are clear answers about costs, installation, curing, care and warranties. If you are unsure which floor suits your space, call Javier at DJ Epoxy Solutions: 321-398-1343.

How much does epoxy flooring cost?

Every project is different, so we provide a custom quote after a free on-site visit. While prices can range from $6 to $15 per square foot, we avoid giving estimates without evaluating your space first. Javier personally visits your property to assess the condition, size, and specific needs to provide an accurate, transparent quote with no hidden fees.

How long does the installation take?

Most epoxy flooring projects are completed in a single day, depending on the size and complexity of the space. We work efficiently without compromising quality. Our professional process includes thorough surface preparation, expert application, and proper curing time to ensure a flawless, long-lasting finish.

When can I use my new floor?

You can typically walk on your new epoxy floor within 24 hours after installation. For full curing and heavy use (vehicles, furniture, equipment), we recommend waiting 48-72 hours. We’ll provide you with specific guidance based on your chosen coating and usage needs to ensure optimal durability from day one.

How durable is epoxy flooring? Will it scratch?

Our epoxy floors are made with industrial-grade materials designed to withstand heavy traffic, impacts, and daily wear. They’re incredibly durable and resistant for years. With proper care, your epoxy floor will maintain its beauty and functionality for decades.

Will my floor get slippery?

Safety is a top priority. We offer non-slip options by adding texture to the finish, especially important for areas prone to moisture like garages, patios, and pool decks. You can customize the level of slip resistance based on your needs. Our coatings provide both beauty and safety for your family and visitors.

What does the lifetime warranty cover?

The lifetime warranty on interior floors covers defects in materials and workmanship. Exterior surfaces have a 5-year warranty. Javier explains the coverage for your project and remains available after installation.

Can I customize the colors and finish?

Absolutely! We offer an extensive palette of colors and finishes including solid colors, metallic, flakes, marble-like, and quartz finishes. You can design your floor exactly the way you want it. Javier will work with you to create custom samples and help you choose the perfect combination that matches your style and space. Your floor will be uniquely yours.

Do you use subcontractors?

No, never. Javier Arnaez, the owner with 30+ years of construction experience, personally supervises every project from start to finish. You’ll work directly with the expert, not a sales team or subcontractors. This hands-on approach ensures consistent quality, attention to detail, and direct communication throughout your entire project. No middlemen, no stress.

Ready to Finish Your Garage Floor?
