What Starting Prices Does DJ Epoxy Solutions Publish?
Epoxy flooring cost in Brevard County depends on the selected system, floor size and concrete preparation. DJ Epoxy Solutions currently publishes Flake flooring from $6 per square foot, Metallic from $9 per square foot and Quartz from $15 per square foot. These are starting prices, not a complete project quote or a verified countywide average.
This guide explains how to read those prices and prepare for an estimate. For installation options and a project assessment, visit the flooring services directory.
Compare Starting Prices by Flooring System
| System | Published starting price |
|---|---|
| Flake | $6 per square foot |
| Metallic / marble-look | $9 per square foot |
| Quartz | $15 per square foot |
The finish must suit the space. DJ uses Metallic for interior applications. Flake and Quartz can be evaluated for appropriate interior or exterior concrete. Solid-color epoxy is priced for the specific project; a fixed starting rate is not currently published on the residential service page.

Garage Starting Prices Depend on Size
The garage service page publishes these starting references for Flake flooring:
- One-car garage: approximately 250–300 square feet, starting at $1,800.
- Two-car garage: approximately 400–500 square feet, starting at $2,500.
- Three-car garage: approximately 580–750 square feet, starting at $3,300.
The number of parking spaces is a useful reference, but the actual floor should be measured. Storage areas, extensions, previous coatings and the condition of the concrete can change the scope. The $3,300 reference should not be treated as the minimum price for every garage.
See the garage epoxy flooring service and starting prices for the installation discussion.

Why Square Footage Alone Does Not Give the Final Price
Multiplying area by a starting rate gives an initial calculation, not an installation quote. For example, 450 square feet multiplied by the $6 Flake starting rate equals $2,700. That arithmetic does not confirm what an installer will charge for a particular 450-square-foot floor.
The estimate needs to account for the actual slab, preparation, selected system, access and project conditions. Compare written estimates for the same area and scope rather than assuming that matching square footage means matching work.
What Can Change the Estimate?
- Existing material: paint, an older coating, adhesives or residue can affect preparation.
- Concrete condition: cracks, pits and visible damage need evaluation before the system is selected.
- Finish: Flake, Metallic and Quartz have different published starting rates and appropriate applications.
- Size and layout: measure the actual area and describe adjoining spaces.
- Access: discuss storage, furniture, equipment and how the crew can reach the floor.
- Use and exposure: an interior room, garage, business floor and outdoor pool area require different project discussions.
Diamond grinding and needed concrete corrections are considered within preparation for a flooring installation. They should not be presented as separate services unless the business confirms that scope. A coating also does not automatically resolve structural movement, slope or drainage issues.
What About Patios and Pool Decks?
The pool deck service page currently publishes Flake from $6 per square foot and Quartz from $15 per square foot. The final price depends on the area, existing coating, concrete condition, preparation, repairs, access and system selected.
Use the pool deck coating service for the concrete immediately around a pool, or the patio and lanai coating service for a separate outdoor living area. Ask for the price for the complete area you want coated.

What Should a Written Estimate Explain?
Ask which area is included, what preparation is required, which system and finish are proposed, and what corrections belong within the work. Confirm the installation schedule, return-to-use instructions and applicable written project terms.
Installation time and return to use are separate. DJ’s general guide after completed installation is approximately 8 hours before walking and 72 hours before vehicles or heavy use, subject to the selected system, conditions and Javier’s instructions. Those references do not promise full cure at either time.
Questions About Epoxy Flooring Prices in Brevard County
Is $2,500 the average price for a two-car garage?
No countywide average was established for this guide. $2,500 is DJ Epoxy Solutions’ published starting reference for a Flake two-car garage of approximately 400–500 square feet. Your written estimate depends on the actual project.
Does every finish start at $6 per square foot?
No. The published starting rates are $6 for Flake, $9 for Metallic and $15 for Quartz. The system must also be appropriate for the intended area.
Can a photo provide an exact price?
Photos can help explain the floor’s condition and layout. They do not replace the on-site evaluation needed for a project-specific quote.
How should I compare professional installation with a DIY kit?
Compare preparation, materials, tools, application scope, time and written support. This guide does not assign a universal lifespan or replacement cost to DIY kits or professionally installed floors.
